Free Motion Quilting and Fusible Web Appliqué

The back is free motioned bees and the

butterflies are fused on.

This one day course will allow you to make a small wall hanging or pillow top. We will discuss composition, colour and design with existing pieces of work to enable you to create a piece that reflects you and your story. Drop the feed dogs, put on your quilting gloves and play outside the box. Experience the freedom and joy free motion quilting allows.
Learn to machine appliqué using fusible web. Fusible web enhances stability to the appliqué motif and when the edges are reinforced with stitching and a liquid fray preventer the edges will remain clean and not fray.

Quilt as you go is a fun technique that allows you to get the whole project finished at one time--the piecing and quilting are done together so that when you've completed the top, all you have left to do is bind the project.
